After a little digging, John Parsons was kind enough to send pictures of his jack, how it was mounted and how the panel was attached.

Here is the first picture. The jack goes into a metal bracket that has a rubber insert. I took my bracket out and cleaned it. On mine, the jack doesn't really fit. Even John's looks crammed in there. Is that the way it's supposed to be?

Here are the fastiners that are used to attach the panel. The one on the right is used exclusively on his 82 TD. His 85 turbo has a combination of both. I have none.
